  • 2014 − A $20,000 grant for purchase of new throwing wheels and kilns for the ceramic department to further student development and art enrichment.
  • 2013 − A $10,000 grant to fund the purchase of 23 iPads for the art class and pathway as well as the business classes in the fall.
  • 2012 − A $1,969 grant to the Biotechnology Department to purchase additional supplies for the Whale studies Steroid Determination program at Lahainaluna High School.
  • 2012 − A $2,000 grant for final costs of construction of the new campus greenhouse to be used by the Agriculture department. 
  • 2012 − A $10,000 grant for the Makana Aloha Science scholarship for a graduating senior planning to major in science and renewal scholarship for last year's recipient.
  • 2012 − A $43,000 grant for the construction and installation of the greenhouse at Lahainaluna High School for their Agriculture department.  The greenhouse allows the school to grow and expand their department while teaching the students sustainable life skills.
  • 2011 − $4,300 grant for purchase and installation of air conditioning units for the Digital media/video program room.  The air conditioning was needed to keep the room and computers from overheating.   
  • 2011 − $12,000 grant for additional supplies and equipment for the Digital Media/Video program at Lahainaluna High School.
  • 2011 − A $5,000 grant for the first of a four year renewable scholarship for a graduating senior planning to major in science.
  • 2011 − $5,500 grant for Biotechnology teacher, Steven Cornell, to attend a professional development seminar in biotechnology.
  • 2011 − A $25,000  grant to purchase a new greenhouse for the agriculture program at Lahainaluna High School.  The greenhouse is used for both classes and plants sold to help fund the department.
  • 2011 − A $4,700 grant to purchase additional supplies for the Biotech department at Lahainaluna High School.
  • 2010 − A $20,000 grant to purchase equipment and supplies for the Biotechnology Department for the Whale Pregnancy Test Development Studies by Enzyme Immuno Assay at Lahainaluna High School Department.
  • 2010 − A  $20,000 grant to purchase 12 iMac computers, 2 digital cameras and one wireless microphone to help start the Digital Media program at Lahainaluna High School.
  • 2010 − A $7,500 grant to start the Luna Café on campus of Lahainaluna High School for the culinary students program. The program provided students opportunities to learn aspects of food preparation, service and on campus marketing of the meals they sold on campus.
  • 2009 − $3,000 grant to help cover the Lunatechs Robotics club cost of travel to the national competition.
  • 2008 − A $1,000 donation for purchase of 16'x16' paver to support construction of the athletic stadium at Lahainaluna High School.  
  • 2008 − A $35,000 grant to purchase capital eqiupment in order to start the biotechnology program at Lahainaluna High School.
  • 2008 − An $8,000 grant to the Agriculture department to repair their tractor.  The repair enabled the department to once again work the fields at the campus and grow produce for consumption and sale, further supporting the program. http://www.lahainalunahs.org/
